A girl on there was planning a wedding to this guy and during the planning he was involved in a horrible motorcycle accident. I can't remember exactly what happened to him but I believe he had some form of brain damage and physical disabilities.<br /><br />Although at first she was there for him all the time, she eventually broke off the engagement to him.<br /><br />I can understand where she was coming from but... how can you go from being so in love with someone that you're planning to spend the rest of your life with them to breaking things off like that?<br /><br />I don't know. One of the hardest things for those facing terminal illness is for family and friends to turn their backs on them, because they are afraid of being hurt. Those with terminal illness need love and affection just as much, if not more, than anyone else.
