I'm faced with situation like that ev...Hmmm.... I'm faced with situation like that every now and then. This is what I would do usually. <br /><br />(1) I would share his excitement. So he wont feel that I am a joy-killer.<br />(2) Then, I would draws out the pros and cons casually in a very neutral tone from his perspective.<br />(3) Then, tell him that the final decisions is still up to him. Either way, it is ok. <br /><br />For our case, usually he will come around. :p Men are generally a little egoistic. So u must learn to talk in their language so they dont feel that they have to listen to us. You want him to be happy but you ...This is tricky.<br /><br />You want him to be happy but you also want to be able to plan the family financial life.<br /><br />My opinion is to stand by him 100% and let make him do some of the business decisions. If he thinks is the right time to start the business then let him go ahead and start planning. <br />In a relationship like a marriage if one feels like is he is a child is never good. Let him take some of decisions.
