I was leaning towards this anyway because the first gift i ever got for Mr. Pancakes was a Guess watch for his birthday! And we had only been dating for about four months and he loved it. Last year for his birthday i also got him a watch which he loved even more!
--our names/our love is timeless
--loving you is time-less
--This time i'm yours forever!
--wedding date/mr & mrs pancakes
--Time is on our side!
--our love is eternal
Well as you can see i don't know quite yet what i am going to write on the watch. But i am sure in three months, i will come up with something to gift him that will be amazing and willl take my groom's breath away!
What did you gift your future husband for your wedding day?
Did you get it engraved??
What a lovely idea and perfect wedding day gift!
ReplyDeleteI think he will love it. I am like that will MrB.P., now he has a lovely watch which tells the time for 5 different countries ;)!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of an engraved watch - that's perfect!
ReplyDeleteWe didn't exchange wedding day gifts. What a sweet tradition, I sure wish we had. :-)
I wanted to secretly get his wedding band engraved, but we got some tungston carbide one, so we couldn't. He got us matching robes.
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies...i am really psyched about his gift!
ReplyDelete@MsBabyPlan: hubby must be a world traveler!!
@ Yakini...not sure if he is getting me a gift on wedding day but i'll be sure to throw loads of hints his way!
@stephanie: awww...love the robe ideas!
An engraved expensive watch is a good idea...I was thinking a classy pen or ballpen (if he doesn't like pens), also engraved, would go well with it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog.

I think your idea for the gift sounds awesome!
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I didn't get each other gifts... we were 18 and too poor.
Alida sometimes things get lost...your love continues to test the time of love. And that's priceless!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure he'll love it. We didn't exchange gifts but we did exchange love letters. Somehow without ever discussing it, we each wrote the other a letter. I had my BFF deliver it to his Best Man. Best Man busted out laughing and told her to look under the dressing table in the room we were in. Best Man had taped Hubs letter to me under it.
