He took away the Cookies...

We had some chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies at home on Friday.
On Saturday night i had a field day with the cookies.
I ate one chocolate chip cookie.
Then one oatmeal cookie.
Then i had another chocolate chip cookie.
Then another oatmeal cookie.
Which lead to two...three...ok six cookies..
 Both chocolate chip and oatmeal.
Ok, ok...honestly i probably had close to ten cookies.

When Mr. Pancakes came home Saturday night
I confessed my lack of self-control and
asked him to take the cookies away.

On Sunday before i went to work,
i was looking for some chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies
and it wasn't anywhere in the kitchen.
 WHAT?
WHERE ARE THE COOKIES?
Mr. Pancakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wasn't really serious when i asked him to take the cookies away.
I was only joking...

It's Monday morning, i still want the chocolate chip/oatmeal cookies.
Too bad the cookies in the pictures are not real.
I WANT SOME COOKIES...soooo bad....

there are grapes in the fridge...
now i know how Cookie Monster feels when he is denied some cookies!

  11. I am the same way, one cookie leads to many more. I only ever take 2 cookies with me and then when I want more I HAVE to get up and get them. I think it helps burn some of the not-so-good-stuff as I walk back and forth from the kitchen, haha.
Another trick I try is I'll wait 15-30 min and if I still want some then I'll get it.
    Good luck finding them :-)

  20. We've had similar situations in my house. My hubby is a cookie and chips lover! lol

  21. Yes, we have a cookie obsession too! The worst is when we put dulce de leche ice cream in between the(slightly warm) homemade oatmeal cookies. It was DH's idea and he calls it an Abe Lincoln (not sure why!).

  26. This is too funny! He took the cookies away for real! Something similar happened a few days ago. My boyfriend came over and brought pizza. He told me he would leave me the last 2 slices to take to work and I said "Oh no babe, go ahead and take them with you" Well I didn't think he really would. LOL!
