Great evening ladies...it's been another awesome day
and i hope you are enjoying all that life has to offer.
I have another installment of 52 Weeks of Love!
Another important part of Team Pancakes was the wedding ambience!
We wanted everything to feel like us: warm and fun!
The church and reception locations were very important
because it had to be places that spoke to us on many many levels.
Our church is definitely an institution in our area and it will celebrate it's 100th year anniversary.
The reception site was warm, cozy and had touches of yellow--perfect for our wedding colors.
Today, I thought i would share some pictures from our wedding ambience.
Regardless of where you get married...
the ambience should be meaningful to the bride and groom as it was for Team Pancakes.
Just ask this couple who got married at Ikea...
where they first met. Kudos to the happy couple!

Question of the Day:
What's the most different wedding location you've heard of?
I've heard of an underwater scuba gear wedding! That's crazy!
ReplyDeleteyour church is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHa, I love IKEA! But would not have my wedding there!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Ikea huh? Hmm.
ReplyDeleteThe church is beautiful! We got married in a small town, so there was really only one place we could hold the reception, which was fine with me. It was all wonderful anyways! The weirdest place I've heard of...hmmm...probably on the gondolas inside of the Venetian Hotel in Vegas. The guy said they are booked all day on Valentine's Day for weddings! That's crazy to me!
ReplyDeleteYour wedding facilities were gorgeous! I've heard of underwater and skydiving weddings...strange to me, but fit them perfectly!
ReplyDeleteI think I have heard of people getting married in a hot air balloon!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely church and reception venue! And I never heard of the IKEA wedding. Gotta love that :) xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love the look and feel you two went with...so beautiful. I haven't heard of an crazy locations...ours was at an old Virgina Mill fully moved to! Arizona from Virgina. Loved it! And thanks for stopping by and your sweet comment : )
ReplyDeleteThe pop of color was beautiful in your decor!
ReplyDeleteI've heard of the Dollar Store doing weddings - that is definitely different (that and White Castle!)

Chic 'n Cheap Living
I live in downtown chicago so if it isn't a hotel, banquet hall, museum, train station, or restaurant that's pretty much it. Your wedding was beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThat's such a cool idea! getting married in Ikea. I agree, the wedding def has to reflect the couples personality. Its one day that is really about celebrating the couple and their love.
ReplyDeleteHa! Getting married at Ikea certainly makes a statement that it means A LOT to them! It's awesome that they married in the place they met!
ReplyDeleteRod and I got married in his parent's living room! The perfect place for us! :)
