As If...

I read the other day that Clueless will be celebrating (almost) 20 years since it's release.

20 years (almost)...that blows my mind because i remember watching the movie at the theatres...

Incredible how (almost) 20 years can feel like yesterday...
i was a wee little girl now here i am married with a child!

Of course many things have happened since Clueless:
we've lost Brittany Murphy...
Paul Rudd is a cutie and bona fide movie star,
Alicia Silverstone is married with a son
and Stacey Dash still looks amazing!

But the best thing is that the movie is still funny to this day.
Today cell phones are more sleeker and smarter
and we probably wouldn't wear checkered outfits
or fur but we still have the same dramas and gossip!

So to celebrate (almost) 20 years of Clueless....
i will be watching it this weekend.
And if you haven't...what are you waiting for?!
It's a classic!
(and it was turned into a television show!)

Happy Weekending!

  1. Wow I can't believe it has been 20 years! I didn't see it in theaters but I remember when I first saw it and Stacey Dash seems to be getting better with age!

  2. OK that 20 years thing totally freaked me out and made me feel super old! I remember seeing this movie in the theater, but I know it couldn't have possibly been 20 years ago... So I looked it up and Clueless was released in 1995 so I think you got some bad information... we still have approximately 3 years to wait until the 20 year release celebration. That being said, I loved this movie so much! I think I still own it, actually. As if! :-)

  5. I'd have to agree with Sarah -- I don't think the movie is QUITE that old yet...

But I LOVED Clueless. I remember trying to recreate the outfits. Loved!

  6. @Sarah: I should have fact checked....it usually takes several years for them to make a movie so i think that's what the article was saying...but 17years is still a long time...i will have to repost in 2015!
