I am excited to introduce Falling In Love with Baby Series.
I believe there is no other time in our lives as women
where falling in love is instantaneous than the love we feel
when we meet our baby for the first time.
Of course...sometimes falling in love with our baby
is NOT so instantaneous and we have to work at it.
But the best part of falling in love is knowing that this kind of love is magic!
It is unconditional and pure...
it is experienced between a mother and her baby...
And it is beautiful....
i didn't understand that until i had
Baby Pancakes and i wanted other mothers to share
with me their thoughts and experiences on Falling In Love with their Baby...
I hope you fall in love with their stories as much as i did...

A Love I NEVER Knew
A Love I NEVER Knew
You hear about it.
You read about it.
You see it from afar.
Yet, you never
know the love that you possess deep down on the inside
until you birth a life
for yourself. In an instant, you go from
being the number
one person in your own life to a distant runner up. No more just living it up for you.
No more
wondering aimlessly without a specific purpose of how the days may go.
Life has
been somewhat planned for the next 18 years or so.
BUT yet, it is a
precious love that surpasses all others.
Yes, even that between a man and a
wife cannot compete
between the bond of a mother and child. Unconditional love
is what I’m talking about.
The type of love
that makes you stay up all night laying on the floor beside a crib,
because you
want to be there to comfort a cough, fever, toothaches, and even a scary
nightmare.
This love I never knew has caused me to do things I never knew I
could.
It is like I have the strength and senses of superwoman when I sense something
is wrong.
I can stretch a dollar a mile long to ensure his needs are met.
And
when I say stretch a dollar, I mean give up things that used to stand for so
much to me.
This love has made
me laugh, smile, cry, and at times scream!!
A love I NEVER knew.
First words.
Potty training.
Learning to walk.
Singing the alphabet.
Counting to 10.
Heading to preschool.
The list can never
be complete of the MANY, MANY milestones that a child will meet.
To some the
memories will fade, or it will just be a note in a doctor’s chart,
or just
another event that takes place in the lives of all children.
BUT in the heart
of a mother, each moment leaves a mark
on her heart that is forever engraved
and wrapped in unconditional love.
This love I NEVER
knew until I became a mom. And that day changed my life…………
for the better.

Best wishes Mrs
Pancakes as you enter into motherhood.
It is life changing, but very rewarding.
I pray you embrace the unconditional love that is waiting for you.
