Peace Offering...

Sometimes when you say the wrong things to each other. When you are a little unkind because of lack of sleep. Or you raise your voice and can't remember in the next minute why you raised it in the first place. When you have a misunderstanding because in marriages you do. When you realize you can't be mad at each other very long because you like to laugh together. When you want to be a good example for your son...it's important to learn how to offer peace. Peace is very important in a household, in a marriage, friendship. And sometimes that peace comes in the form of chocolate...and that's not bad! Question of the Day? What's a recent peace offering you've received?

  1. Mine would be red velvet cupcakes from the Red Velvet Cupcakery in DC. The bakery messed up my birthday cake and hubby was in charge of ordering it. To make up for it, he drove into DC in the middle of a Redskins game (he LOVES the Redskins) to get my some cupcakes. I love that man :-)!

  2. I've had to make a LOT of peace offerings lately. Being 37 weeks pregnant and having a sick toddler can really make one snappy. Cute peace offering!! :-)

  4. Mmmmm! That looks like my kind of peace offering! :)
My peace offerings are normally a hug, a kiss, and an "I'm sorry". That seems to do the trick after a senseless argument.

  6. How sweet :) I can't say that I've received one lately, but I've had to GIVE one. I usually stick with chocolate or a back rub :)
