Served Before his Birthday...

Hello....one more day before July 4th!

I wasn't going to get into another Hollywood divorce but i couldn't help it!

As you all know...Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are disolving their five year marriage.

At least Katie wants to disolve the marriage.

Now we don't know the REAL reasons for the divorce despite all the speculations...

all we know is that she served him divorce documents...

in New York instead of Los Angeles (apparently it makes a big difference)

while he was traveling for work 

and days before his birthday...

This is what i wanted to ask this morning...

Was she being spiteful serving him divorce papers days before his birthday?

Not any birthday but the man's 50th birthday!

I can only imagine the anxiety one feels with their 50th birthday approaching

 but then to realize the stability you thought you had at home in your family has been shattered?

I am just thinking...that was not cool of Ms. Holmes to serve him documents before his birthday.

But then again, is there ever a good time to ask someone for a divorce?

I don't know because I've never been there before 

BUT i am just thinking there is a time and place for everything.

After five years of marriage and six years of raising a daugther together....

i hope i would have the courtesy to ask for a a divorce AFTER we have celebrated his birthday.  

Clearly, she has been planning the divorce all this time 

because if not she would have been planning his 50th birthday bash. 

Now for the rest of his life...Mr. Cruise will forever associate his 

5th decade of life with the ending of his marriage.

I am all for a woman's right to decide...

i am just wondering if Ms. Holmes could have been a little more sensitive?!

LongLazySunday is back...
i've been a little lazy as of late but i thought i would start up again.

This Sunday should be a long & hot lazy Sunday!

Because of the big storm...there were many power outages including at our Church.

So this morning...we laid in bed a little longer.

Went to McDonald's for breakfast and then ran around completing some errands.

The rest of the day will be spent studying, drinking lots of water 

and just enjoying some quality time with Baby Pancakes, 

going through some of his clothes and staying as cool as possible.

It ain't easy being a pregnant woman on a hot day...i'm just glad i get to be lazy!
