There is something awesome about a day being new.
There is freshness which comes with a new day.
And i hope all of you start off today as a new beginning,
a fresh start, a clean slate, a do over & a second chance.
Let this first of 2012 be a brand new day!
I thought i would use a question a found in InStyle:
How do you spend the first day of the new year?
According to the reader poll...
61% quietly hanging out wtih friends and family at home
23% nursing a New Year's Eve hangover and resting my dancing feet
10% up and at 'em! I've got things to clean and workouts and diets to plan
6% Att the movie theater, catching the latest release
Team Pancakes will most likely be spending a quiet day at home, watching movies and playing scrabble.

I'm relaxing, reading, blogging, watching TV at home. And a little bit of laundry. Oh and the gym. Enjoy your day!

we had an amazing worship service this morning and will go for some more tonight. :) but right now, i'm going to go take my weekly Sunday afternoon nap! haha!

I am enjoying time with my kiddies. Sadly, the Mr has to work but at least at least we got to bring in the New Year together as a family.

We spent it taking down xmas decorations. Over until next year, sigh.

Since we have cows, I went out, fed them, cleaned up some of the corrals and took some pics for a few different posts I'm going to be doing. Had a nice Sunday dinner with the in-laws and just hanging out with the hubby! Hope you both are having a great day :)

Happy new year! What a great year this will be. I can feel it. I'm still in Europe, so we decided (very very last minute) to buy a cheap plane ticket to Zurich and spend New Years Eve in the Alps! Totally NOT what I expected to be doing, and the best surprise ever! It was a lovely (and cold) night! May your year be filled with HAPPINESS! :)
