I still haven't decided if i will be getting professional pictures done...
i am thinking i want professional pictures when baby finally arrives.
We are trying to be economical so we might wait until baby arrives for portraits.
But i still can't help but dream and imagine all the images i would like to take.
And i might attempt to do some of these poses while i have the energy
and still look somewhat decent:-)

OH my those pictures are too cute! I say you deff take advantage of the cute baby bump and take pictures!!
I didn't have professional maternity pics, and I can't say I regret it. :-) I felt like a cow my last couple of months.
But I do enjoy looking at others'. I especially love the silhouette ones. Precious.
I definitely want to do a maternity shoot with my third. I didn't get to do one with my first two but I'm certainly making it a priority next time! Love the shot of Vanessa at the end. It's so gorg!!
I think you should just do your own and use photoshop to make them like a little more professional. Most of these pictures are simple to take but so cute so have fun doing it yourself and saving money.
The first series is my favorite! I always wish I thought of things like that

I love maternity shots. I don't believe I would spend money on them because I would display them in my home. Like you said, I would save the money for newborn and forth. You could always do the some maternity pics yourself.
love these! my husband and i did the kiss pose with the wife in the chair. our photographer had a package that included maternity and newborn pics. is that an option?
These are so beautiful! I think you should definitely do a photo shoot, even if you don't go with an expensive pro photographer.
I say do the photoshoot just don't pay a hefty price for it. Maybe get a friend with a nice camera to take pics of you guys or look on living social or groupon for some photographer deals. I did pregnancy pics both times and I am so glad I did. I actually have them hanging on the wall in the baby's room. Way worth it. If I never get to experience pregnancy again at least I'll have great memories
I didn't do many photos at all. I didn't feel beautiful during late pregnancy. Looking back I wish I more photos to view.
You should at least take your own photos.
