Happy Monday!!!
Another week begins....this time around it's sunny with a side of bright!
It was actually an awesome weekend so i thought i would wrap up...
Team Pancakes was able to hang out and enjoy each other's company all weekend.
Which is rare because most weekends, we are both working.
Which is rare because most weekends, we are both working.
On Friday, we watched The Proposal. Very funny.
We were bothing loling like there was no tomorrow.
Some of the scenes were a bit forced but generally it was a fun easy movie to watch.

Saturday, we went to pick up the crib, which my godson is passing onto Baby Pancakes.
Thanks godson/cousin!
and was attempting to fit it into his car when we realized,
there was no way it was going to happen.
We eventually had to admit defeat.
He was so determined to get into the car
but unfortunately the wood was not bendable!
It made me smile because i realized my hubby
and Baby Pancakes' daddy is always willing to do what it takes to make us happy!
Sunday, we went to Church, had lunch at a BBQ joint and then ventured into Babies 'R Us!
I went in there before and was totally overwhelmed.
So it was nice having my partner in crime with me.
The experience at BRU was definitely an adventure in new parenthood
because we were looking at strollers and had no idea how anything worked.
We had some help from one of the attendants,
we referred to as "Kevin Hart" because he was just such a cute portable man.
Anywho, i never realized folding a stroller would be so adventurous!!
We left without a stroller but managed to purchase a mattress for Baby Pancakes.
We will definitely return for more stroller and other baby adventures!
We spent the rest of the evening, laughing about our misadventurous in BRU
and watching Four Christmases.
Which was another movie that made us LOL.
In genereal, it was a great weekend because it was a long&lazy
and we haven't had one of those in the last few weeks.
It was a weekend that was all about us, me, him and Baby Pancakes!
And that's a pretty awesome weekend!!
Question of the Day:
How did you spend your weekend?

Shh...it still takes me 2-3 tries to open or close our stroller. My hubby says it's all in the wrist.
I spent my weekend working as I do every weekend. I know...fun!
My weekend was relaxing and nice. Glad yours was good too. Baby stuff is super complicated. I can't even figure out how to work some of those toys!
There is so much baby stuff on the market! I'd be overwhelmed walking into BRU. I do love all things baby! Four Christmases was so much fun! Its one of our favorite couples movies. Glad you two had a good weekend. As for our weekend, It was pretty quiet - went to see Snow White and the Huntsman on Sat (i give 3 of 5 stars) Sunday was a relaxing day we hung out and sometimes we like to visit open houses so we stopped by a new subdivision and checked out this place - http://www.tollbrothers.com/MD/Patuxent_Chase/Malvern
For the amount of money (starts at 1mil) we only liked a few rooms. Oh well house hunting is fun even if its dream house hunting!
Sounds like a great weekend.
I would do anything to see you both trying to fit the crib into your car :)
i love both the movies you mentioned! so funny!
What a fun weekend! It must have been great to peruse the aisles of BRU and choose things for your little boy!
We've been in Babies R Us once so far. We walked around and marveled at everything...then we looked at strollers and I said "I'm not ready for this!" Picking out a stroller is serious business, apparently. I just want to pick one that's not going to accidentally decapitate the baby or something.
My weekend was packed! Still trying to recover and come down from the high of canoeing, rock climbing and zip lining!
I worked this weekend but also took time to laze by the pool and watch a movie with the boyfriend =-)
You had me cracking up at "portable man"!! too funny. we had a low key weekend that was filled with running weekend errands. No "portable men" in sight! LOL!
I'm obsessed with the Proposal! Such a funny show! That is cute how determined your hubby was to get the crib in the car! Hopefully you still found a way to get it home!
Sounds like a good weekend! You watched some of my favorite movies. ;)
Babies R Us is insane in the membrane. The first time I registered I was so overwhelmed with the choices!!Now when I go in, I have a checklist and promise myself not to get distracted by baby gadgets and clothes! :)
I have to watch that movie! I have never seen it.
