Mommylogues: Dance Party with My Son

Good Monday Morning Friends...
On Saturday...my son and I had a dance party.
This reminded me of a post i wrote when Baby Pancakes
was still in my belly about him having a dance party.

April 27, 2012
It must be a Friday night dance party
because you are dancing up a storm Baby Pancakes!
Just twisting and chivying away...
you are too cute sometimes how you interact
and i so think you are going to be a night baby.
Daddy and i hope you will enjoy sleeping as much as we do
BUT when you are having dance parties..i am left to wonder!
You are too adorable in all your cuteness...
i LOVE feeling you move and now when you
move i can actually see the movements and it the most amazing feeling.
I want you to continue to move and move and twist
and turn and chive and do all the things you need to do!!!
LOVE always and forever!!

This time around, our Play List included these songs:
1. Three Little Birds (thanks Rolex for the reminder...i love this song)
2. No Woman, No Cry
3. Could This Be Love
4.  Move Like Jagger
5. Soul Sister
6. Home
7. Buffalo Soldier

And some others I can't remember but it was a jumping playlist.

Watching and listening to my son laugh and smile filled my heart with such joy.
I was reminded how beautiful and fun motherhood truly is.
And while we were dancing....we were making memories that will last a lifetime!

Question of the Day:
What did you do this weekend?
Any dance parties?

Dance parties are the best, aren't they?! Aiden and I had one a couple weeks ago to celebrate the start of spring break. It was glorious! It's so precious that you can have a good time with your son -- what a blessing! xoxo
