LongLazySunday: The Linky Party 1

One of the best things i LOVE about my blog is sharing how i spent my Sundays with my readers.
Team Pancakes savours our Sunday and this started even before we were married.
Sundays usually find Teams Panacakes at home together because most Saturdays we work
Therefore sundays have become sacred and we try to savour it as much as possible.
It has become our time for connecting and recouping.
And re-energizing for the hectic Monday ahead!

We are together all day Sunday and usually make it a lazy one.
There is usually pancakes for breakfast before church.
After church services, we visit family members.
Usually we will have sunday lunch with Mr. Pancake's 95 year old granny.
Then the rest of the sunday is spent just lazying around, reading, playing games, watching sports-usually football, dreaming together and just enjoying each other's company.
We hope to continue our traditions of longlazysunday even after we have children!

And Team Pancakes hopes you will share with us how you spend your longlazysunday.
And if you don't have longlazysundays....why?!

The rules to join the linky party are:
1) Grab the buttons
2) Share with Team Pancakes how you spent your longlazysunday (what did you do?)
3) Add pictures if you have
4) Team Pancakes hopes you can begin enjoying your longlazysunday
5) Make some new friends!

Sundays are my favorite day of the week. With my hubs in grad school this is the day we set aside for church and to spend w/o any homework distractions. We usually play board games and visit family and friends. Hope you have a great Sunday today!

Sunday is always the day I gather myself...
I spend the morning sipping tea and perusing the internets - gathering ideas for meals for the week. The week that I have my kids I have to put a much bigger effort into what we are having so that takes a bit more planning.
I spend the afternoon doing a clean of the house, maybe making some bread, lounging on the couch watching t.v. and folding laundry.
Then early evening I am busy grocery shopping and getting organized for the crazy week!!
I love Sunday's too... except they make me ever so sad that Monday has already rolled around! What's up with that?! It goes so fast!!
Hope you have a wonderful lazy Sunday!

This sunday I started knitting the sleeves for a sweater I'm making and then got so frustrated that I had to rip out all my progress. I was not a happy camper!

i remember long lazy Sundays with the hubby ... but now he works on Sundays ... so now i just watch movies, do chores around the house and cuddle with the dog/cat.

Sundays are also lazy for me and my hubby as well. We are usually both off from work, so we spend the day watching sports and/or movies, cooking, and eating. If its football season, I usually make game day snacks while we watch the games. I also use Sunday to catch up with my blog and my bloggy friends!

my longlazysundays usually consist of church, naps, good food and watching Once Upon a Time... I love that show! I also usually end up doing work to prepare for the week so my laziness gets cut short. Have a great week!
