There are many things you will bring this month for which i am excited about.

I begin work again this month which brings to an end  my stay-at-home mommy duties until Summer School is over in August.  It's been wonderful spending extra time with Baby Pancakes doing fun activities like swimming and going to the park and just hanging out.

Another thing July brings is the big reveal of my new online property.  I finally made the leap and purchased my own URL.  It's under construction right now but i can't wait to reveal it to everyone and i hope you guys will join me there soon!  All the details will come soon....very soon.

July of course brings the 4th of July, BBQs, family fun and so much more. 

July brings Baby Pancakes turning 11 months and closer to being a one year-old.  I will be mommy to a one year-old soon....WOW!!

July brings hopefully more weekend trips to the beach and pool.

July brings lots of smiles and laughter.

July brings lots of sunshine and longer days and nights.

Hello Team Pancakes!

When Mrs. Pancakes mentioned sharing our favorite and fun summer vacations,
I volunteered right away! I LOVE travel,
and I'm very happy to support her while she is preparing for her little bundle of joy.
 Don't you think she will be the cutest mom?

I've decided that we need to visit Vegas today.

I have been there five times, and it is a whole new experience EVERY time.
There are a million things to do, amazing food, great entertainment,
and something that everyone should experience.

If you have never experiences Vegas...You need to get on that!

I would be the one on the right:

I must say, it is QUITE hot in the summer, but it is located in the dessert.

Now I know why people barely wear clothes there...

If you haven't noticed a pattern, I could LIVE in a bathing suit.

 I love sun (don't worry, I slather on the sunblock) and I love fun in the sun. 

That is why I ALWAYS go to the pool parties in Vegas.

 Do you ever remember the show Rehab that was recorded in Vegas? 

This particular pool party was where they recorded it!

 Let me tell you, it is worthy of it's own show.

And this would be a bowling alley in the Hard Rock Penthouse:

Um...what?

Apparently that is the norm in Vegas. I'll take their word for it!

They do everything big in Vegas, so I've just learned to enjoy the ride!

Surprisingly, my hubby has never been, 

so the next adventure will be showing him the ropes. 

It's going to be the BEST trip yet. I am quite sure of it.

What are you doing this Summer?

What are your Summer Vacation Stories?

Team Pancakes wants to know because unfortunately

this summer we will NOT be taking a vacation

 but instead taking a trip into parenthood which we are excited about. 

But probably not as exciting as traveling somewhere fun and exotic 

unless you count mom/baby groups as fun and exotic! 

I know many of you will be taking vacations this summer

and i want to indulge in your Summer vacation plans, past and present.

In thinking about my maternity leave from blogging...

which i am sure will NOT be very long...i was thinking of doing a fun new feature called:

Summer Vacation Stories

where i ask you, my fellow bloggers to share a fun vacation you took during summer. 

The summer vacation can be anytime from childhood, high school, college,

pre-marriage, post-marriage, family vacation, any vacation really

as long as it occured in the summer time!!!
I have a few interested peoples but i am looking for more...

If you are interested in keeping my blog alive and well when i begin my maternity leave...

Today is officially the beginning of the Solstice...the summer season!!

How exciting is Summer...

Summer is definitely my ray of Sunshine!

Although i know the summer will be hot...

today for example is supposed to get into the high 90's...

i am EXCITED about it!!

Summer seems to bring me reasons to smile and be carefree!

There is obviously one good reason i am excited this particular summer...

To Meet Baby Pancakes!

But there are also many other reasons too!

Let's count the ways!

1.

The many delicious flavored popsicles and fruity drinks like the one below!

2.

The time Team Pancakes will be spending together..baby-mooning..

not in a tropical place we will still be together!

Just enjoying each other's company!!

More details later!

3.

Lots of Baseball games along with beer for the Mister and Chicken Fingers for me...

And of course great baseball excitement!

4.

Our annual Wolfpack Girls Weekend...although i will be big and bigger...

i wanted to make sure this Summer we continue our tradition 

of good times and fun spent with each other!

Hopefully Baby Pancakes doesn't decide to come while we are away:-)

5.

Seeing Family members...mom, sisters, brother, nieces and nephews.

I love my big crazy fun African Family!!

6.

Meeting Baby Pancakes...but i said that already!

7.

Generally, i am just EXCITED for Summer!!

I know this one will be one memorable Summer!!
