2. 10:30am (i was up at 6am and just made it into work)

3. We traveled so we don't have any Christmas decor to take down (woohoo)

I am excited because This Week played a cruel joke on us 

by putting the holiday right smack in the middle of the week!  

Not cool at all...therefore i am glad it's Friday!!!!

I haven't done one of these Question to the Universe

posts in a while so i thought what better timing.

I have been seeing so many nice colors on nails.

I usually stick the same colour regiments when it comes to my nails...

usually a dark plum/maroon colour but this time around

i decided to be a little more colourful and go bright!!

So i chose different shades of pink! And i thought it came out nice.

Maybe next time i will try teal!

Question to the Universe: Easter Celebrations?

Hello Friends...whose excited for Easter weekend?!

It's kinda of interesting because last year Easter weekend was our wedding weekend.

I am not sure why 2011 Easter weekend fell on the third Sunday of the year BUT somehow it did.

Mr. Pancakes was totally confused for a second there because he was like, 

"I thought our wedding anniversary was on Easter!" 

He thought it was going to be easy to remember.  

Not so fast Mister!  

Needless to say we are NOT spending this Easter weekend 

celebrating our wedding/marriage anniversary

 but celebrating the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Which leads me to to my Question of the Universe which has of course to do with Easter.

I haven't done this in a while so hopefully i remember how it goes...

1. 7:43pm (this was a scheduled post)

2. The Golden Girls

3. Church tonight (Munsday) & Sunday, 
visits to our families and probably dinner at home with Team Pancakes!

(i can't wait to have kids so we can incorporate the easter egg hunt).

Of course all this could be rumors but for argument sake, we will say they are engaged.

have a $500,000 Cheating Claus in their pre-nup in case Justin cheats.

Now my question is this: 

If you know your fiance is a cheater

(because he has a history of cheating during your relationship)

would you go ahead with the marriage?

What exactly is the Cheating Claus going to do?

You know how i pose questions to the universe (my readers) all the time...
well i thought i would turn the tables around and allow my readers to ask Team Pancakes questions. 

Plus I have seen several other bloggers do this and i thought WHY NOT join the fun and excitment!

Also i wasn't inspired by anything today aside by my lovely READERS!!

This is how it will work, i will open up my blog to my fellow readers to ask Team Pancakes

Bonding Over the TeeVee..

Happy Wednesday Friends!

Remember that time i put myself on the No-TV Challenge 

because i thought i was watching too much TV?!

It's true that most times TeeVee can be a major distraction 

HOWEVER it can also be a bonding experience for families.

I know whenever i go back home, we love watching shows like 

The Bachelor, 

American Idol, 

X-Factor, 

Dancing with the Stars 

and i cannot wait for The Voice to return.  

Therefore, there are many shows which brings families together.  

My question today is: 

What TeeVee (Television) shows bond you and the special people in your life?

To answer my own question, there aren't many shows Team Pancakes can watch together because Mr. Pancakes is not much of a TV viewer unless it's some sports related show like the NFL, NBA, NCAA, Boxing, UFC, you get my drift....but there are a few shows we can watch and enjoy together.

We LOVE and will LAUGH 

out LOUD together include mostly 80s reruns like:

Mr. Pancakes knows each episode verbatim!

We've probably seen each episode like three times BUT we both laugh out loud each time!
The ladies are still funny and relevant today.

And some financial shows like:

There is NOTHING like a Saturday night with Suze...denied, denied, denied!!

This is a Canadian show and was so glad when Mr. Pancakes liked her too!

And sensational news straight from the headlines:

The people on this show are so criminal and GREEDY!

I know, i know, the shows which we watch together are a bit electic 

however they really do bring us together and these are the moments

 when TV can be a definite bonding experience!

i hope you don't believe in all the superstitions that come with today.

I cannot wait for Saturday to come already...

not because today is friday the 13th but

because i will be seeing the movie below!!!!

 

Yes that's right, Beauty and the Beast!!!!!!!!!

Beauty and the Beast is my most favorite Disney movie and i cannot wait to see it in 3D. 

 I LOVE Belle and the Beast and their romance!
It was epic!
I will be sitting in a sea of little kiddies but i could care less...
My godson just turned two and too young to sit through a movie
My little niece is just two months old...all she likes to do at this point is eat & sleep...
So i don't have any little kiddies to use as disguises while i watch the movie
but it's cool..I'm a big girl...i don't mind going to see a cartoon movie by myself
because frankly i am So excited....

anywho i thought i would have a little fun in honour of the Beauty and the Beast 3D movie
by asking Questions to the Universe !

and i know many of you have already completed ALL your shopping and or are still shopping, 

i haven't even made my list yet but quite frankly my list is NOT that long this year...

i suppose i will spend this weekend getting ontop of it...hopefully 

There is just so much pressure we place on ourselves during this time of year 

and i WILL not succumb.  

Therefore, i will continue my procrastination of christmas listing and shopping

Question to the Universe: When Did you Find Out Santa Wasn't Real?

Happy December Friends!

I can't believe how quickly December has come upon us. 

I don't even have a christmas list made...

but i know the holiday spirit is in the air with the lights, the chill, people buzzing about!

I wanted to start of with an Advent Calendar 

but i am a little late putting it together so while i work on that..

i wanted to play another game of Question to the Universe 

and this time it's about Santa.

1) It's 9:01am

2) No christmas tree as of yet

3) I found out Santa wasn't real when i was about 8yrs-old.

I asked Santa for all these wonderful items and ended up getting the opposite of what i asked for. 

But Santa...i was good this year...

come to find out there REALLY is no Santa!

Today is such a terrific day for many reasons.  

As a family we are blessed.

I totally stole borrowed this idea from Micaela of Dolce Vita because i loved and thought it was fun and oh so very creative...and so appropriate for this weekend when we fall back in time..you know we get to sleep an hour later starting Saturday evening...yaaah!!!
